Terms & Conditions
1. About Us
Fagradalsfjall Volcano Tours is operated by Go Ltd. (ehf.) / 2Go Iceland Travel, a licensed Icelandic travel agency (License No. 2017-028).
These Terms & Conditions apply to all tours booked directly through our official websites.
2. Payments
Bookings are confirmed once full payment has been received.
Payments can be made securely online using the payment methods available during checkout or through a payment link provided by us.
3. Cancellation Policy
Group tours: Cancellations received more than 24 hours before departure are eligible for a refund minus a 10% processing and administration fee.
Private tours: Cancellations received more than 24 hours before departure are eligible for a refund minus a 20% processing and administration fee.
Group tour cancellations received within 24 hours of departure are normally non-refundable.
Private tour cancellations received within 24 hours of departure are normally non-refundable.
When operationally possible, we will try to assist with changing the tour date. Date changes are not guaranteed and may be subject to availability and price differences.
If we cancel a tour due to weather, safety concerns, road closures, official restrictions or other operational reasons, you will receive a full refund with no processing fee.
All cancellation and date-change requests must be submitted by email or WhatsApp before the tour's scheduled departure time. A cancellation is considered received when it reaches us.
4. Weather & Volcanic Conditions
Volcanic activity and Icelandic weather are unpredictable.
We may adjust departure times, routes, meeting points or schedules when necessary to provide the safest possible experience.
If authorities close the hiking area or conditions are considered unsafe, we may reschedule, modify or cancel the tour.
Unless specifically advertised, this is not an active eruption tour.
5. Fitness & Participation
Participants should have a moderate level of fitness.
The hike is approximately 8 km (5 miles) and takes place across uneven volcanic terrain.
Guests with medical conditions, injuries or mobility limitations should contact us before booking so we can advise whether the tour is suitable.
The guide may refuse participation if a guest is not properly equipped, appears unfit to complete the activity safely or does not follow safety instructions.
6. Children
Children aged 7 years and older are welcome on scheduled group tours.
Children under 7 years old are only accepted on selected private tours with prior approval.
Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that children are physically able to complete the activity and follow the guide's instructions.
7. Changes to Bookings
If you booked directly with us, please contact us to request any changes.
Changes are subject to availability and may involve a price difference.
If you booked through Viator, GetYourGuide, Airbnb or another reseller, all booking changes, cancellations and refund requests must be submitted through the platform where the reservation was made. The reseller's cancellation policy and terms may apply.
8. Visa Requirements
Guests are responsible for ensuring that they have the passports, visas and other documents required to enter Iceland.
We cannot provide visa assistance or accept responsibility for denied entry, delayed travel or missing documentation.
Cancellations caused by visa, passport or entry issues remain subject to our standard cancellation policy.
9. Photography & Media
Photos and videos may be taken during our tours for promotional, editorial or social media purposes.
By participating, you grant 2Go Iceland Travel permission to use images or videos in which you may appear.
If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please inform your guide before the tour begins. We will respect your request whenever reasonably possible.
10. Liability
Outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including changing weather, uneven terrain, volcanic landscapes and natural hazards.
By joining the tour, participants acknowledge these risks and agree to follow the guide's instructions at all times.
2Go Iceland Travel cannot be held responsible for personal belongings, personal injury caused by a participant's own actions, delays, missed connections or changes caused by weather, road conditions, volcanic activity, official restrictions or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
